Sunday morning gatherings at Gateway are a time to get together and remember the greatness and the glory of our God through singing, praying, reading the Bible, preaching, and just enjoying each other’s company.
Our desire is to worship Jesus for all that He’s done for us in the Gospel. It’s our goal for that to come through in everything we do in our Sunday gatherings. There’s no dress code and no one will embarrass you if you’re new. You are welcome here and we would love to have you.
What To Expect On Sundays - 6 Questions Answered
Q: HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?
A: Our Sunday gathering lasts for approximately 60-75 minutes.
Q: IS THERE CHILDCARE?
A: We provide free childcare for newborns up to children in the fifth grade. Kindergarten-aged children and above will learn simple Bible lessons together as they play. However, you are also more than welcome to keep your kids with you in the gathering if this makes you more comfortable.
Q: HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
A: You won’t find very many ties at Gateway – not that there’s anything wrong with ties. Simply put, come as you are. For most people at our gatherings, that tends to be something like jeans and a shirt, whether collared or tee.
Q: WILL I BE SINGLED OUT?
A: No. We will not ask visitors to stand and be recognized, to give a testimony, to come to the front, or anything like that.
Q: WILL I BE PRESSURED TO GIVE MONEY?
A: Every week during our time together we provide the opportunity to give. However, giving is more for regular attendees – for those who have said, “I’ve found out what I need to know about Gateway, and I’m all in. This is my church family, and Gateway’s mission is my mission.”
Q: WHAT ARE THE SERMONS LIKE?
A: We preach the Bible, verse-by-verse, book-by-book. Our goal in this is to remember the greatness and the glory of our God in all scripture, pointing us back to the Son, Jesus Christ, every time. It is our desire to worship Jesus for all that He’s done for us in the Gospel.
